Luis A. Lopez, LMSW, centers cultural humility, safety, and practical tools in therapy. He works
with children, teens, adults, and couples, with experience supporting clients navigating
crosscultural transitions. Luis earned his Master of Social Work from Grand Canyon University
and completed specialized training in trauma informed care.
In session, Luis blends a person-centered, strengths-based style with evidence-based methods such
as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. He listens closely, offers clear education about what you’re
facing, and helps you practice skills you can use between sessions. His approach blends
professionalism with genuine connection, ensuring that each client feels seen, heard, and
supported throughout their journey of healing. Areas of focus include anxiety, trauma recovery,
relationship and family stress, acculturation and identity, schoolrelated challenges, and life
transitions.
Luis previously worked in school settings partnering with parents and educators, which shapes
his practical, teamoriented support for families. Services are provided in English; Spanish is
available upon request.
