Bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker

As a Bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 17 years of clinical experience—and two decades working within school systems—I bring a deep-rooted passion for supporting children, families, and communities through life’s most complex challenges. My work is grounded in cultural humility, trauma-informed care, and a strengths-based approach that honors each client’s story.

Born in Puerto Rico and raised in New York City, I’ve witnessed firsthand the power of resilience in diverse communities. My heritage and lived experiences have shaped my ability to connect meaningfully with clients from all walks of life, creating a safe and inclusive space where they feel seen, heard, and empowered.

I am committed to walking alongside my clients with compassion, clinical expertise, and ethical integrity. Whether addressing emotional and behavioral concerns in children, navigating family dynamics, or supporting caregivers, my goal is to help clients build on their strengths and develop tools for long-term growth and healing. For clients who desire it, I also provide Christian counseling, integrating faith and clinical practice to support the healing process.

Outside the therapy room, I’m a proud wife and mother of three—roles that inspire and ground me. I understand the intricacies of parenting, relationships, and maintaining balance in a demanding world, and I bring that empathy into every session. My Christian faith enriches my values and work ethic, while I remain deeply respectful and welcoming of all beliefs and backgrounds.

It is my honor to be part of the Gathered Connections Counseling team, where we believe in fostering hope, connection, and transformation—one relationship at a time.
